NOTE: If clients arrive in Uganda in the morning, they will be transferred to the hotel, rest and after have lunch. Later in the afternoon we shall visit a project run by ladies with albinism who make things such as soap and crafts for survival. Most of these women are single parents either because the husbands abandoned them or they can’t find one. In Africa the lives of Albinos are at a threat as people believe that their blood can be offered for wealth. The aim of the visit is to show support to these women either by buying a few of their products hence enabling them to earn some income.

Kampala is a busy city of approximately two million people by day and 1 million people by night. The city was originally built on seven hills just like Rome but now covers 27 hills. The hills were of historical, colonial, and religious importance. 

On this Kampala city tour, you will visit some of the cultural, religious and historical sites which include; Craft Villages, Owino Market (East Africa’s biggest flea market) Old Taxi Park where we find the organized chaos of taxis, , Gadhafi National Mosque which is the biggest in East Africa and at the top of the tower you view the Seven hills that originally made up Kampala, Kabaka’s Lake (biggest man-made lake in East Africa)Baha’i Temple – only temple of Baha’i Faith in Africa, 

After lunch, you will visit the homes of one of the elders in Kampala who will take us through the history and struggles of Uganda as a country. This is to enable our clients understand more about the country Uganda. 

Clients will later be transferred to the hotel for refreshment before heading out for Dinner at Ndere Troupe at 7pm. Ndere troupe is a cultural dancing group that performs different dances from all parts of Uganda. Their shows take place on Wednesday & Friday.

Pick up from the agreed location to start the drive to Murchison falls National Park at 9:00am. It will take us roughly 4 hours to reach ZZiwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino Trekking before proceeding to the park. ZZiwa is dedicate to protecting endangered Rhinos by giving them a home just like in the wild. The Rhino tracking takes approximately 1 to 2 hours. After Rhino trekking proceed for lunch at Kabalega Dinners before continuing with the drive to the lodge which involves some dusty areas.

Wake up to an early morning Game drive in the park starting at 6:30am giving you the opportunity to site Lions, Elephants, Buffalos and many other animals hidden away in the beauty of Nature (nature can’t be tamed , provided the day is good we shall see all the animals). At 1:40pm proceed for a boat trip on the gorgeous Victoria Nile with an opportunity to view Hippos, Crocodiles and a number of bird species which takes roughly 3 hours. You can’t miss taking pictures of the Murchison Falls known as the World’s most powerful water falls where the Nile from 50 metres squeezes through a 6 metre gorge falling 40 metres with a thunderous roar. For safety of the clients, boats are not allowed to sail close to the falls.

Optional Activities. 

Hike to the top of the falls. For those who love some bit of hiking, test your fitness by hiking up the falls for a better view of the famous Murchison Falls from the top where all the magic happens. The hike takes between 1 to 2 hours and costs 15 USD per person.  During the boat cruise, the clients who are to hike are left at some point to start off their hike. In case of hiking, all the clients travelling together are supposed to hike since the driver will have to drive to the other point to pick them up.

After spending time in the encountering the amazing wildlife in Murchison falls, start your journey at 10:00am to Entebbe with a lunch stop at any restaurant available.  Clients will arrive in Kampala between 5 to 6pm. Clients will be transferred to the hotel in Kampala, those willing will hit the night life of Kampala for a good time.

Entanda Cultural center is a real cultural experience and reward of taste to the true cultural practices of the Baganda the biggest tribe in Uganda. Activities such as dressing up the traditional wear (the Gomasi), preparing food a traditional way, enjoy from different dishes with self-service buffet to fresh fruits, play traditional musical instruments, , cattle grazing and milking, have a taste to fresh honey from bee hives, bark clothing making, old traditional hunting,  traditional wine processing, games like skipping ropes, net ball, board games, football bicycle riding in plantations, educational and informative talks about sex by Uncles (kojja) and aunts (senga). Time will determine if all the activities will be done.

Up on arrival the clients will be grouped in groups of men & women.  Women will be taken by traditional old women who will guide them on how to prepare traditional meals like chicken luwombo, peeling and cooking matooke ( banana) The men will participate in traditional hunting with sticks, spears, nets plus other traditional items for fishing and hunting, they will be escorted by guides and dogs. There will be no killing of animals but rather rewards to encounter animals in the wilderness and gain traditional hunting skills. The women will also be given a talk by aunts (senga) who will talk to them about bed room matters and how to keep a man in the home, then participate in games like net ball, rope skipping, tree swinging etc. Men will also be led by Uncles to go discuss bed room secrets and traditional family matters.

Once lunch prepared by the women is ready, the groups will meet up for lunch served in a traditional way. A variety of fruits will be available depending on the season and some of these include  fresh fruits like mangos, sugar cane, passion fruits, water melon, jack fruits, guavas, avocado, pawpaw, oranges, wild berries etc.


After lunch a football tournament will be organized between the visitors and the community as a way of saying farewell. 

Later in the evening transfer back to Kampala.

On this day, clients will be transferred to the Airport for their international flights carrying memories about Uganda. Kampala is 40 kms from Entebbe international Airport and at times the traffic is a lot, clients therefore need to leave Kampala early enough to be able to catch their flights.

  • Porters are available to help you with your bags at a small fee
  • Carry enough drinking water because you never know the location of the Gorillas from the start of your hike. Be prepared for long walks just in case
  • Eating, drinking and smoking near the gorillas is forbidden. The ranger will always communicate when it’s appropriate for you to do so.
  • Bwindi being a tropical forest, it can rain anytime so we encourage you to carry a rain jacket.
  • Accommodation named in the itinerary is based on availability during the preferred travel dates. In case of non-availability, similar types of accommodation will be recommended.

    The Safari is done in 4WD Safari cars with a pop up roof for Game Viewing. Each client has a window seat for better travel moments

                     Where Half board meal plan has been indicated, clients will be taken to a restaurant on a en-route our destination where they can have their lunch buffet
